The 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination results saw the highest improvement in mean scores in the recent past. Kodich Boarding shocked residents when it registered a positive deviation of 112.66 on its mean mark from 224.02 in 2021 to 336.38 in 2022.

The improvement propelled it to top Kacheliba sub-county and emerge sixth overall.

St. Mary’s Catholic was the crème de la crème in the county after it garnered a mean mark of 381.08, followed closely by Kapenguria Town View with 379.1 and BCFC Christian Academy came third with 372.55.

AIC Bendera Academy came fourth with 369.56 and Kapenguria Central finished the top 5 list with 351.89.

The last school in the county was Kauriong which managed a mean mark of 196.91

Overally, the county managed a mean mark of 218.33.
