As secondary schools all over the country settle down after celebrating exemplary 2022 KCSE results, an analysis by Education News has revealed that Rock Fields school in Isinya sub-county topped Kajiado county with a mean score of 10.309.
Oloolaiser High school from Kajiado North sub-county came a far second with a mean score of 8.753 followed by Newlight Senior from Isinya sub-county with a score of 8.530.
Isinya sub-county’s Moi Girls and Kajiado Central sub-county’s Alsuahim clinched the fourth and fifth position with mean scores of 8.090 and 7.917 respectively.
Erankau Secondary in Mashuuru sub-county was the last school in the county with a mean score of 1.300.
2,769 candidates scored D- (minus), 2,175 scored D (plain), 1,688 got D+ (plus), 1,436 scored C- (minus), 1,058 managed C (plain), 510 attained B- (minus), 397 got B (plain), 17 scored B+ (plus), 91 scored A- (minus) and 10 candidates scored a straight A.
The county presented 11,690 candidates who managed to post an average mean score of 4.223.
