Double twins among top KCPE candidates in Makueni school

Two set of twins are among the top five 2022 KCPE candidates at Unoa Primary School in Makueni county.

The first set of twins – Mulatya Samuel Muthoka and Hadasa Kalunde Muthoka – managed to score 400 and 399 marks respectively securing position two and three while the second set – Kyalo Patience Mwende and Kyalo Prudence Twili – scored 397 and 361 respectively securing position four and five.

One of the twins Sam Mulatya said that he has been studying together with his twin sister and consulted where necessary.

Though he scored one mark above his sister, he added that they always tie in marks and positions. He said that his dream school is Kapsabet Boys and wants to pursue Software Engineering at the University.

With a candidature of 141, Somba Faith Mwikali managed to top with 405 marks.

Somba revealed that she revised enough although the marks she attained were beyond her expectations. Her dream school is Alliance High and later become a neurosurgeon.

The school head teacher Winfred Sila could not hide her joy as this is her second year in the school and its performance has improved drastically.

“Though I came towards end of last year, I have noticed the top five have been interchanging positions and are very good in class. We are generally happy for the good performance of the entire class of 2022,” Sila said.
