The Ministry of Education has dispatched a team to Awasi Girls secondary school in Kisumu County to establish the cause of a student’s death.
Kisumu County Director of Education Mr. Peter Munene said the student collapsed and died while in the school under mysterious circumstances.
According to the Director, the student was going to bed with her colleagues but developed problems before collapsing.
He said that a full report will be given once investigations are completed.
