A village in Ivumbu, Mbooni Subcounty is still in shock and yet to come to terms with the death of two school girls who were defiled and killed by a person well known to them.

The two girls, aged between 7 and 10 years, were defiled on Saturday during the day by a houseboy who was employed in the family barely a month ago.

The two were pupils at Kituya primary school in the area.

Makueni County commander Joseph Napeiyan said the girls’ mother reported at Utuneni police station that his two daughters had gone missing.

The police found the 34 year old houseboy had been arrested by the public and taken to his house where the dead bodies of the minors were found under his bed.

The assailant allegedly defiled the victims before killing them.

He was subjected to mob injustice and lynched. The three bodies were taken to Tawa Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
