Tana River Director of Adult Education begins retirement

Tana River Ccounty Director of Adult Education, Mrs. Mary Komora has finally retired from the Public Service Commission after attaining the government retirement age bracket of 60 years, Education News has reliably learnt.

Speaking to Education News from Hola town recently, she said that she retired from the Public Service Commission in March this year (2022).

The outgoing Director of Adult Education revealed that she served for five years as Sub-county Director of Adult Education and then served for four years as a  full-fledged Director of Adult Education in the county.

However, Mrs. Komora disclosed that the rest of the other years she had served as an ordinary teacher in Tana Delta Sub-county in Tana River County.

Mr. Rolnald Amuna, Sub-county Director of Adult Education in the county has replaced Mrs. Komora as the new Tana River County Director of Adult Education.

She asked Adult Education stakeholders in the county and county residents to accord Mr. Muna the necessary cooperation to enable him discharge his new duties more efficiently and effectively.
