He called on the relevant individuals at the Ministry  to move with speed and ensure all schools receive the grants to facilitate the smooth running of the school progammes.

“We are currently operating on debts and it’s only a matter of time before our suppliers stop working with us,” he said.

Kwanusu expressed concern over the few CBC classrooms built in the area and added that the government should built more of such classrooms in the area due to the high number of learners set to join junior high school.

He expressed concern over the frequent disruptions of the school calendar and argued that teachers need ample time to cover the syllabus and prepare learners for national exams.

He also urged parents staying with children living with disabilities to take them to school.

“Disability is not inability. Please let’s support our children living with disabilities get education,” Kwanusu said.
