Fire incident at Kabarak

By Allan Kibet

Fire razed down a dormitory facility last evening at Moi High School Kabarak in Nakuru County.

In a letter read by Education News, the school administration has ascertained the safety of all the students and members of staff who were present within the institution during the incident. The fire broke out while students were on their evening preps.

The letter, authorized by the school Principal Mrs. Elishebah Cheruiyot states that the extend of the damage by the fires was minimal and that they suspect to have been caused by an electric fault as they wait for investigation to take place.

“Throughout the incident, the School Principal, staff and some of the board members were present coordinating the process of putting off the fire,” read the letter in part.

The fire was contained with the help of fire-fighters from Nakuru County Government.
