Homabay parents asked to work hand in hand with teachers, school admins

Parents have been asked to assist the Board of Management Committees to develop their schools.

Speaking at God Marera Secondary School in Homabay county, Rangwe Subcounty TSC director Mr.George Lukipia (pictured) said that parents must work together with teachers and their children for any meaningful progress of the school.

The officer advised teachers to accept any changes that are brought by the Teachers Service Commission from time to time for the improvement of good academic delivery.

“All these changes brought by the Ministry of Education in the curriculum are meant to better the education of our children,” he said.

Mr.Lukipia Congratulated the incoming Principal to the school Mr.Samson Otwere,who transferred from Itare Secondary in Gucha Subcounty.

“I hear you were a performer at your previous station and that is what I want to be reflected in this school,” he appealed.

God Marera Secondary School started in 2010, and has since maintained good standards of academic exellence.

The officer promised all possible advisory support from his office for continued growth of the school.
