In a circular by the CS to all school heads, sports will commence from 23rd of August 2021, immediately after the three days of break from half –term, targeting both primary and secondary schools.

In the circular, the CS said that he expects schools to strictly follow the basic Covid-19 protocols and also provide washing points at strategic areas.

Athletic competitions will precede the ball games in term two where all the attendants will be required to wear face masks with participants being exempted only when participating.

Schools are also required to have and provide first aid kits in case of any emergencies.

The resumption of sports by the ministry of education has brought good news to students who will participate in different games as they sharpen and preserve their talents.
