 By Mathews Bulimo

Bumula Member of Parliament Moses Mwambu Mabonga has hinted on his intentions to focus more on infrastructural development in learning institutions through the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NGCDF).

Speaking at  Syoya  and  Burangasi  primary schools in Kabula ward and South Bukusu ward respectively ,the legislator expressed concerns that  many schools are still  experiencing challenges  in terms of lack of  enough  classrooms  and other amenities like toilets .

Through the NG-CDF, Mabonga disbursed Kshs 1 million to each of the schools. Syoya primary should reconstruct    a tuition block while Burangasi primary school should build two classrooms.

Mabonga added that a good environment for learners is a hub for ample learning and favourable competition.

He also urged the  learners to continue adhering   to  all  the protocols set up by the Ministry of  Health so as to curb the spread of  Covid-19 .
