Bumula Member of Parliament Moses Mwambu Mabonga has hinted on his intentions to focus more on infrastructural development in learning institutions through the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NGCDF).
Speaking at Syoya and Burangasi primary schools in Kabula ward and South Bukusu ward respectively ,the legislator expressed concerns that many schools are still experiencing challenges in terms of lack of enough classrooms and other amenities like toilets .
Through the NG-CDF, Mabonga disbursed Kshs 1 million to each of the schools. Syoya primary should reconstruct a tuition block while Burangasi primary school should build two classrooms.
Mabonga added that a good environment for learners is a hub for ample learning and favourable competition.
He also urged the learners to continue adhering to all the protocols set up by the Ministry of Health so as to curb the spread of Covid-19 .
