Shock has engulfed Mulango Girls Secondary School after one of their own was involved in road accident immediately after the girls broke for midterm holiday.
Kitui minister for health Winnie Kitetu said the form one girl died at the accident scene at Wikililye area. The girl was heading home for midterm.
“The girl jumped from the motorbike when she saw another vehicle approaching leaving behind her friend and the boda boda motorcyclist,” Kitetu said.
She added that the survivors were later examined in hospital and received counselling. She said they are out of danger.The minister sent her condolences to the entire school and parents.
