The prisoners; 20 from Kericho GK Prison,13 from Kericho GK Medium Prison and 6 from Kericho GK Women Prison are confident that they will pass well since they have revised adequately.

Assistant Commissioner of Prisons (ACP) Wilfred Kati who is the Officer-In-Charge of the Prison said that inmates are encouraged to embark on education upon convictions.

He expressed confidence that the prisoners will perform well since the Prisons Department has been supporting education programmes fully.

“I am positive they will perform well since their trained teachers have adequately prepared them for the national examinations,” said Kati.

The ACP added that education is important to prisoners since it helps them become better people.

The KCPE examination is set to commence on November 28 and end on November 30, 2022.
