305 students from Ganze constituency have received full scholarships to pursue diploma and degree courses in various universities in the country.
Speaking to Education News in Vitengeni division in his constituency, Ganze Member of Parliament Mr. Teddy Mwambire revealed that National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG –CDF) has prioritized the education sector in the constituency to enable students pursue education in the country.
He further added that education is the only key factor towards achieving rapid development in the country.
‘CDF will continue disbursing bursaries to needy but bright secondary school students from poor backgrounds,’ he added.
Mr. Mwambire asked all education stakeholders in the constituency to cooperate fully in a bid to improve education standards in the area.
‘Stakeholders should take urgent steps to equip schools with essential physical learning facilities so as to enhance effective teaching and learning,’ he said.
He also urged parents to take their children to school irrespective of their gender and warned those who refuse to do so that they will be arrested and prosecuted.
