The implementation of the Recognition of Prior Learning is part of the broader Government’s agenda to ensure that all Kenyans with skills and without certification are brought into the ecosystem of skills qualifications.
TVET plans to increase the number of Jua Kali artisans and MSMEs that have been assessed and certified through RPL from 5,170 to 700,000 by the end of the year.
The PS called on Kenyans who have skills but are not certified to take advantage of RPL so that their skills can be certified.
