2019 KCPE Results Released Top Candidate Scored 440 Marks

Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination has been released. The exams were released on Monday by Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha.

The top candidate scored 440 marks , the candidate Michael Munyiri is from Damacrest Academy, Thogoto.

Three candidates tied at second position scoring 439 marks. They are Flavian Onyango of Chakol girls, June Cheptoo Koech and Michael Ndung’u. Top candidate living with disability scored 414 marks.

Candidates who scored 400 and above marks were 9,770.  Last year, top candidates scored 453 marks.

A total of 1,088,986 candidates sat for the exams this year.  The exams began on October 29 and came to an end on October 31.

The CS said 9000 scholarships will be awarded to candidates this year , all the candidates will be admitted  in secondary school​ . Placement of candidates will start on Tuesday to December 2.

The candidates can get their results by sending their KCPE Index number followed by the word “KCPE” to SMS code 20076.
