The first fire incident was reported on Saturday where form one dormitory located across the road opposite the main gate caught fire.

Fire broke out at around 6.00 pm in the first floor occupied by 100 form one students but luckily they were in the football field and tuition classes.

Only few students’ belongings were rescued. The value of damage and cause of fire is still unknown. There was no injury or death.

Makueni County commander Joseph Napeiyan indicated in a police report that the second fire broke out at 1830 hours on Sunday where students’ property of unknown value were destroyed in two cubicles.

Police revisited the school and 12 suspected students were arrested to help in investigations.

Among them were six form three students, four form two students and two form one students.

The students were taken to Salama police station awaiting thorough interrogation in connection to the two consecutive fire incidents.
