The Nyandarua Central Sub-county Director of Education James Wahome has promised to engage all education stakeholders over falling academic standards in the area.
The sub county has a continued to post dismal performance for almost a decade.
Speaking at a Humanities and Languages Teachers’ Symposium at Kalou and Nyandarua high schools, Wahome called for concerted efforts towards improvement of the education standards in the area.
“There is need for prompt syllabus coverage, raising of the quality standards in examination setting, marking and overhaul of the teaching strategies,” he said.
