The immediate former Member of Parliament for Gatanga Humphrey Kimani Njuguna has called for a national audit on the academic status of all those elected in the last general election.
Njuguna, popularly known as Roho Safi claimed that over 10 per cent of MPs found their way to parliament deceitfully.
He was speaking at Thika Sports Club where he hosted a party to celebrate his academic achievement after being conferred with his sixth degree.
The politician was conferred with a PhD in Law from University of Nairobi.
He becomes the tenth Law student to get a PhD in Law from University of Nairobi since the School of Law was established 47 years ago.
Among those who have attained that feat are Professor Githu Muigai, Nancy Barasa and Moni Wekesa.
