Sh6m administration block to be built

A Sh6 million ultra modern administration block will be built at Icuga Girls Secondary School in Mathira, Nyeri County.
The modern block will be funded jointly by Mathira CDF and the school Parents Teachers Association according to the school BoM Chairman Samuel Kibara.
“The building will also have a new digital library to ensure students fit in the new world. The project is expected to be complete by end of 2018,” he said.
The school, which has a population of 350 students has already been elevated from a Sub County school to a County school.
Area MP Rigathi Gachagua who participated in the ground breaking ceremony, said the local CDF will pump Sh3 million into the project while the school fraternity will raise the rest funds.
