Kisii County elites have been urged to give back to the community in various ways.
Sironga Girls’ National school Principal, Mrs. Hellen Nyabuto said professionals who come from the county should give talks to students and pupils to motivate them.
“Most rural children lack role models and therefore the elite should make frequent visits to their home schools to motivate learners and teachers as a way of giving back to the community,” she said.
The Principal was addressing pupils, parents and teachers of St. Anne’s Metaburo Primary School in Gucha South in Kisii County during the school’s education day.
She lauded the Head teacher, David Manyara and the school management team for championing the girl-child’s education.
