Joy as Special Needs school get games kits

By Jacky Soy.

Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) Bomet County recently donated games kits to a Special Needs school.
Speaking at the handover at Korara School for the Visually Impaired, Bomet Knut Branch Executive Secretary, Mr. Malel Langat said it was the union’s way of making society more inclusive for people with disabilities.
“It is our responsibility as a union to ensure that pupils with Special Needs are given sports equipment to excel in co-curriculum activities”, he said.
The Head teacher, Mr. Chebusit, said he was delighted about the donation, but warned there was also critical need for staff.
