The Head teacher of Musembi Primary School in Bungoma North has appealed for well-wishers to mobilise resources towards the construction of education infrastructure at the school.
Mr. John Osale highlighted the need for well-wishers and other stakeholders to partner with Musembi Primary School community in the mobilisation of funds for the construction of decent classrooms for its more than 1200 students.
He told Education News that the deplorable state of infrastructure at the school is hampering academic work.
The classroom structures are in a poor state, as some of the roofs have been ripped off, following heavy rainstorm.
He says since the school was built near a swamp and the classrooms are normally flooded during rainy seasons.
According to the Head teacher, the school also lacks teaching and learning materials which is an affront to effective teaching and learning and has appealed to government to come to the School’s aid.
“We are pleading with government and stakeholders to come to the aid of the school before school resumes next term,” he pleaded.
