Deputy Governor lauds improved education standards

Kakamega County Deputy Governor, Philip Kutima has lauded the academic improvement being displayed by Primary schools in Malava Sub-county.
He praised efforts being put in place by education stakeholders within Kabras to ensure there is a noticeable improvement in end year exams, especially in primary level.
He was addressing the Central Kabras Zone teachers when the county hosted a fete to recognize them as the most improved zone within the sub-county. He emphasized the need to give education first priority.
“The county has decided to recognize the efforts the zone and sub-county has displayed at the primary level where they have for the last two years beaten Butere that has been among the best performing schools in the County,” Kutima noted.
