Kangema schools gain from computer literacy initiative

Pupils in Kangema Sub-County primary schools are benefitting from an initiative meant to spread computer literacy in local learning institutions.
The plan aims to set up computer learning classes in all public schools to enable children from ordinary households have access and interact with computers.
Enos Muguku (pictured) who is spearheading the strategy, said while donating computers at Kiawairegi Primary School that it is in line with the government’s agenda for digital education literacy at primary school level.
He said of the 43 primary schools in Kangema, 33 have been supplied with computers and the remaining ten will be provided with the gadgets so as to cover the entire constituency.
