MP praises Catholic sponsored schools

The Kiminini Member of Parliament (MP), Chris Wamalwa has praised the Catholic Church for promoting good moral behaviour through their schools. He added that Catholic sponsored schools have been performing well in national examinations.
He gave the example of St. Bridged Girls which had a mean score of 8.6 points, St. Joseph’s Boys High School which had a mean score of 8.2 points, St. Anthony Boys of Kitale which had a mean score of 7.9 points and FriendsSchool Bwake which posted a mean score of 7.4 points.
He made the recently while speaking at St. Joseph’s Boys High School where five priests were ordained.
The function was presided over by Bishop Anthony Mourice Crowley. Trans-Nzoia Governor  Honorable Patrick Khaemba who was also present, praised the Catholic Church for putting up numerous schools in Trans Nzoia.
